For new campers and families. Meet the staff, tour our facilities, participate in camp activities, see how a normal day of Resident Camp runs, and enjoy a s'mores buffet!

BRING A NEW CAMPER TO CAMP! If you bring a new camper to camp, you
will receive 5% off your registration fee.

      

For children in grades 2nd thorough 12th.
Come and stay at the Center for the entire week!
Each week we offer a different age group at camp.
Food, lodging and tons of fun!

The Howell Conference & Nature Center offers a variety of exciting summer time camping experiences geared for children in grades second through twelfth. Living and sharing in an intercultural Christian community, guided by Christian leaders, gives people of all ages and all religious denominations a unique opportunity to expand their horizons and grow in faith. The Nature Center is committed to providing a quality camping experience offering exciting challenges and loads of hands-on exploration. Your child will have plenty of opportunities for making new friends and will take part in activities that will develop a greater appreciation for
our natural world.

Your child will enjoy exploring our 270 acres of wooded countryside and will love our modern lodges with all the comforts of home including air conditioning, and modern facilities. Activities include: fishing, canoeing, campfires, games, boating, swimming, archery, crafts, Wild Wonders Wildlife Park, zipline, climbing tower, high ropes, horseback riding, and so much more!

 

Beginners Camp - July 18-20 - $125 - For campers entering grades 2-4
This camp is perfect for the first-time camper. Activities include swimming, fishing, archery, our second annual Yuk Olympics, hayride and a campfire.

Mackinac Adventure Camp - June 22-27 - $390 - For campers entering grades 7-9
The first few days of this camp will be on-site where we will climb our 60-foot tower and fly on our 500-foot Zipline, and traverse our High Ropes Course. Then we will head up north where we will spend a day at Thunder Falls Water Park, and a day at Mackinac Island.

High School Extreme Camp - July 6-11 - $390 - For campers entering grades 9-12
The first few days of this camp will be spent on-site where we will climb our 60-foot Tower, fly on our 500-foot Zipline, and traverse our High Ropes Course. Then we will head to Sandusky, Ohio for camping, plus two days at Soak City and Cedar Point.

Middle School Extreme Camp - July 13-18 - $390 - For campers entering grades 6-8
During this camp we will climb our 60-foot Tower, fly on our 500-foot Zipline, and traverse our High Ropes Course. We will also canoe the Huron River, go roller skating, go horseback riding, swimming and much, much more.

Explorer Camp - July 20-25 - $330 - For campers entering grades 4-6
Come join us as we climb our 60-foot and fly on our 500-foot Zipline.
We will also go horseback riding, take a trip to the Detroit Zoo, and participate in camp activities such as archery, fishing, canoeing, hayrides and other adventurous camp happenings.

Survivor Camp - July 27 to August 1 - $325 - For campers entering grades 4-6
During this camp we will go horseback riding, climb the 60-foot Tower and fly on our 500-foot Zipline. We will also compete in our own version or Survivor, and sleep some nights outside under the stars.

Lakeshore Adventure Camp - August 3-8 - $390 - For campers entering grades 7-9
We will spend the first few days on-site where we will climb our 60-foot Tower, fly on our 500-foot Zipline, and traverse our high Ropes Course. Then we will head up north for tubing on the Platt River, climbing Sleeping Bear Dunes, and then we will spend our last day at Michigan's Adventure Theme Park.

Amazing Adventure Camp - August 10-15 - $325 - For campers entering grades 3-5
Activities include our 60-foot Tower, 500-foot Zipline, a trip to the movies, and horseback riding. We will also participate in everyday camp activities such as swimming, archery, canoeing, a hayride and campfire, games and much, much more.
