Photography Workshop

You will have the opportunity to photograph approximately 4-6 Birds-of-Prey in a natural setting. The birds are tethered at the edge of a beautiful, large field. A great deal of attention is given to props, perches and backgrounds. The workshop is under the direction of Mr. Skip Moody, a nationally known, well published, professional nature photographer. Skip along with three other experienced photographers, donate their time and knowledge of the fine art of nature photography to benefit the participants. The workshop will last three to four hours and will include a great lunch!  A slide show and lecture will be presented by Skip, at 11:00 am for those wishing to attend. There is an extra $10 fee for this portion. All others arrive at noon.

Photographers of all skill levels are welcome, but please have working knowledge of your equipment.

Registration is REQUIRED!!!! Space is limited to 35. These workshops fill up weeks
in advance so register early! No registration at the door!

JUNIOR PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP - SEPTEMBER 14, 11:00 AM TO 3:00 PM
The following photography workshop will be catered to young photographers. Steve Gettle, a well known professional wildlife photographer, will be hosting
the shoot, with a team of photographers to answer questions and give
suggestions. The cost is $40 and includes a fabulous slide show, delicious lunch and two hours of photographing our birds of prey with mammals. The photographer must have knowledge of his/her camera. A tripod is
recommended, but not required. Space is limited so please reserve your
space well in advance by calling the office at 517-546-0249.

Cancellation Policy

Sold-out shots have forced us to institute a cancellation policy. There will be a $7.00 charge to cover the cost of food prepared unless we are notified 48 hours in advance. Refunds will be assessed a $3.00 office fee. Emergency situations will be handled on an individual basis. We hope this does not cause you any inconvenience.
