In July of 1988,
two American Bald Eagles were added to the Howell
Conference and Nature Center's Wildlife Rehabilitation
Program. The sibling eagles had been illegally
confined to a very small cage for the first two years
of their lives. Both suffered permanent wing damage
and were unable to fly because they were never allowed
to exercise their wings. Unable to survive in the
wild, these eagles were brought to our center where
they could be cared for and given the best quality of
life.
Your membership will help us continue to provide care
and rehabilitation to animals in need, as well as
assist us in educating the public about these
extraordinary animals. Look below for the exciting
