🌼 Happy Staff Member Monday! 🌼Today, we're highlighting Ashley Dunn, our Assistant Adventure Education Coordinator!Ashley has been involved with the Howell Nature Center since 2019, when she spent a summer as a Wildlife Rehabilitation Intern. She was then a Camp Wonder counselor in 2020. After that, she worked with visiting groups and our events throughout the year as a Nature and Adventure Educator. In her new role, Ashley runs many of our adventure education programs such as high ropes, rock tower, and zipline. She also manages gear, helps train staff, and inspects the courses to ensure these programs continue running safely and smoothly.Ashley graduated from Michigan State University this spring with a B.S. in Zoology and a minor in Geographic Information Science. Some of her hobbies include rock climbing, hiking, needle felting, animals, and video games. Ashley enjoys working at HNC because she's able to be outdoors, experience new challenges every day, and help people of all ages grow and enjoy the outdoors in a novel way.
