We are pleased to announce that we will be offering our new Camp Wonder at Home Virtual Camp experience FREE of charge! We understand that times are tough, and we strongly believe that the magic of camp should be available to everyone, regardless of circumstances. We LOVE our community, and are happy to be able to provide this opportunity for those that are unable to attend camp in person this year.
Camp Wonder at Home runs for 3 weeks: July 6-10, July 20-24, and August 3-7. Each week will have a different theme with activities EVERY day to keep campers busy. Activities include:
- Value of the day
- Camp song
- Live activity (acting, baking, juggling, animal programs)
- A photo or video challenge
- An hour to unplug from screens
- A craft
- A family challenge
- An evening activity
- And story time to wrap up the day!
We hope that many children will join us on this new adventure. While the program is free, we are asking families to consider donating to help support the wildlife, staff, and volunteers that make the Howell Nature Center a special experience for all involved!
Camp In a Box
We will also be offering Camp in a Box for those that don’t want to go virtual, or for those that would like to add to their virtual experience. Camp in a Box is $25, and includes a water bottle, sunglasses, an owl pellet to dissect, and many mystery items.
