Join us for a 2-hour outdoor workshop!
Workshops are $16 per Scout, open to the public, and require pre-registration.

*Price includes admission to Wild Wonders Wildlife Park and Alexandria’s Naturescape.

November 7th, 2026

  • 10:00 am – 12:00 pm: AOL – Into the Wild, Webelos – Earth Rocks!, Bear Habitat
  • 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm: Webelos – Champions for Nature, Tigers in the Wild, Wolf – Paws on the Path

Scout Leader Trip Packet

Private Workshops

Design your own adventure! Earn badges and experience the multitude of other programs available at the Howell Nature Center. All custom packages require a minimum of 10 scouts. 

  • Badge Workshop: ($21/ Scout)  Earn 1 Scout badge during a private 2-hour workshop! OR Enjoy 2-hours of basic Nature Center programs. These feature indoor and outdoor activities. After your scheduled workshop, Scouts can go on a self-guided tour of Wild Wonders. 
  • Basic Day Package ($26.00/Scout):  Enhance the Scout workshop experience with our hands-on, engaging Nature & Wildlife Education programs! These feature a 2-hour badge workshop plus 2-hours of additional programming such as archery, team building, canoeing, and more. OR Enjoy 4-hours of basic Nature Center programs.
  • Adventure Day Package ($32.00/Scout)  This package includes a 2-hour workshop plus 2- hours of adventure education such as ziplining* or rock climbing*. OR Enjoy 2-hours of basic Nature Center programs and 2-hours of Adventure Education programs.
  • Two Day, One Night Package: ($77.00/ Scout)   Enjoy 5 hours of Nature Center programs! These hours may be used for badge workshops. Meals not included.
  • Three Day, Two Nights without Meals: ($109/Scout) Enjoy 9 hours of Nature Center programs! These hours may be used for badge workshops. Meals not included.

*Each participant enjoys one turn on Adventure Activities which have a weight range of 50 to 250 pounds.
