Explorers
Entering Grades 4 – 5

Campers explore nature’s wonder through a combination of exciting experiential-based activities, along with fun and traditional camp favorites. Campers develop lasting friendships, a sense of belonging, and a connection to nature.
Adventurers
Entering Grades 6 – 8

Adventurers choose much of their own camp experience while growing in a challenging and supportive atmosphere. Through inquiry-based programming and adventurous fun, campers develop skills, establish friendships, and build confidence.
Trailblazers

Unique e to this age group, campers blaze their own trail of adventure! Trailblazers broaden their horizons and expand their comfort zones while learning the joys of outdoor exploration, challenging them to grow as individuals.

From tie-dyeing your own neon gear to dazzling dance parties, this is the ultimate summer camp experience for kids who love to shine!
Camp Wonder Carnival

Whether your camper is a seasoned carnival game pro or a first-time player, they are sure to have a great time at the Camp Wonder carnival games. These games offer campers a chance to test their skills and win prizes while having a blast with their fellow campers.
Mission Impossible
August 3 – 8
Unleash your inner spy and embark on a thrilling adventure of Mission Impossible. Crack codes, decipher clues, and navigate obstacle courses as you work with your team to complete top-secret missions. So gear up, stay alert, and get ready for a week of excitement and intrigue!
Game On!
August 10 – 15
Join us for a week of larger-than-life fun during Game On! Experience classic games but on a colossal scale! Challenge your fellow campers to epic battles of strategy and skill. With oversized props and a whole lot of laughter, this week is sure to be a memorable one.
TUITION ASSISTANCE
Because we believe every child should have the opportunity to experience summer camp regardless of their inability to pay, the Howell Nature Center has a Tuition Assistance Program. If your family is in need of financial assistance for your child(ren) to attend summer camp, please start by creating an account and register your campers. Complete all required forms, then fill out the Tuition Application- this electronic form is located in Step 3 of the online registration process. Then pay required deposits. You will be notified of your award amount via email after your application has been reviewed. Applications are reviewed on the first Monday of every month, January-May.
Please Note: Funds are limited and are based off financial needs. No more than one week will be funded for any child.
